To set up Outlook 2003:

  1. Select Options from the Tools menu.

    Select Options from the Tools menu.
  2. From the Options window, select the Mail Setup tab.
  3. Click the Email Accounts... button.
  4. Choose the Add a new Email account option and click the Next button.
  5. Select the POP3 radio button and click the Next button.
  6. In the Internet Email Settings (POP3) window, enter the following information:

User Information

  • Enter your name as you wish it to appear in the Your Name field.
  • Enter your Email address in the username@domain.com format in the Email Address field (i.e., the domain appears after the @ symbol in your Email address, such as ).

Server Information

  • Enter your POP Server Name (i.e., your POP Server Name will have the same ending as your Email address, such as ) in the Incoming Mail Server (POP3) field.
  • Enter your SMTP Server Name (i.e., your SMTP Server Name will have the same ending as your Email address, such as ) in the Outgoing Mail Server field.

Logon Information

  • Enter your user name in the User Name field.
  • Enter your password in the Password field.
  1. Click the Test Account Settings... button to verify the information you entered is correct.
  2. To leave a copy of your Email on the server:

    1. Click the More Settings... button.
    2. Select the Advance tab.
    3. In the Delivery section, check the Leave a copy of messages on the server box.
    4. Click the OK button.
  3. Click the Close button.
  4. Click the Next button, then click the Finish button.
